Learning How to Walk & Standing By Myself (12-12-08)...

Sam loves to stand! He hates tummy time, does not want to crawl and does not really like to roll...ummm what?!?!?! He is REALLY consentrating on standing & walking! To concern, what happens if he learns to walk, then he falls...he can't even crawl!! HaHa... Sammers what a silly little guy!! Sam likes to put his hands on Daddy's jeans & then walks forward with Daddy! He is a walking maniac! But a cute maniac!!

Bath Time....

Self explanitory! Bath time is a favorite for Sam....what a cute little hienie!

November 24th, Samerton...

Sam si getting to be such a big boy! He is 2 feet 4 inches and 19lbs 8oz. What a big dude!! His newest tricks are walking while you hold his hands and learing how to say "more" by signing with his hands!
It just seems like he is growing up so fast! He really likes playing with Jackson & Boots is one of his favorite friends!

Papou likes to call Sam "The Little Professor." This is so appropriate! What a serious little guy at times!

Sam's First Halloween...

Mammy & Sam spent Halloween together! What a fun girl! Mammy is such a great Mammy and a very fun teacher. She dressed up for school also, I think as a sweet tart. I can't remember but, I do love the green boa and dingle head band!

Sam had his surgery the day before on the 30th. You can see his little sutures over his left eye. He did great! The surgery was about an hour. His nurse in the recovery room was our cousin Jen VanEssen! What a neat surprise and blessing. We found out the the bump was just a little cyst, so all is well. And as you can see here, Sam was and is doing just great!!

Sullivan and his three beautiful girls! They go to work and Trick-or-Treat every year. It is great, the whole office comes dressed up to hand out candy. They also decorate the cubicles as different themes. It is always a lot of fun!

Uncle John came to Colorado to play after our adventure in California. He helped the girls carve pumpkins. Here you can see Katy showing off her pumpkin guts. I don't know why but, I love and hate the feeling of pumpkin guts. Mainly love, because it is so weird feeling. I think that Katy would agree.

Continued... Fun in California (October 25th - 28th)...

We were all so excited to find out that Uncle John was going to come to Heather's Graduation in California!! He is so much fun to hang out with. He spent a lot of time getting to know Sam. Sam really likes his Uncle John! While we were in California and in Colorado, Uncle John decided to wear all of his Obama t-shirts. It was a lot of fun watching people's reaction to his shirts!! What a fan!
I think this is about the most beautiful picture of Megan...well, minus the boogers. But that "is just like a snack!" Enough said. But it really is one of my favorite pictures of Ms. MES

Heather and Krissy! We girls are the best of friends and it is always so great when we can all be in the same place at the same time. LOVE IT!!

Mommy and Sam. This is us as we stroll along the beach. At night, Sam sleeps with a sound machine that has the sounds of the ocean. So while we were taking our walk Sam fell fast asleep in my arms. So cute. Have to admit that the warm sun and the sound of the ocean almost had me sleeping too.

Ryan and Uncle John. This was such a great trip and it was even nicer that John could be there. It was just such a wonderful time for all of us. Mom, Dad and John stayed a few extra days beyond the rest of us.

Bearz Graduate!!! (October 25th - 28th)...

During our plane ride to California, Sam had his first attempt at Cheerrio's. It was cute to see his face when he bit into the first one! He did wonderful on the flight out. Sucking on his passie, barely a peep going up or down. What a great little trooper and traveler.

BEARZ!!!!! This is the girl that we all came to see. It was great to have time hanging out with the entire family! And in sunny California. I packed and dressed Sam according to Colorado weather. So by the time we made it off the plane he was down to his t-shirt!! Opps. I will have to check the weather channel next time! :)

This has to be one of my very favorite pictures!!! What a strong stream for such a little guy!!

Family! Love it!

Dad, Mom & Heather! We are so proud of her!!!

Sam's girlfriend, Madeline Joy (October 17th)...

Sam and I both agree, Miss Madeline is supper cute & sweet!! Madeline's Mom, Nancy, and I went to college together. So it only seems fair and natural that Madeline be Sam's girlfriend! Madeline was born a little over 4 months after Sam.

When Mama's away the Boyz are going to Play (October 1st - 4th)...

During the beginning of October, I was in San Fransisco for business. While I was there, Heather was able to meet me for a few days!! But when I returned I found these photos...which lead me to believe that Daddy and Sam had a great time being home alone!! Boyz!

This is Sam chillin out with the magic bunny that Glenda gave him! It came with a magicians hat. Maybe Sam will aspire to do some tricks...wait a minute...I am thinking with or without the magic hat he will play lots of tricks!!

This is ofcourse our beloved hound...Jackson!

Sam and Snoopy, in the back yard pantless. I think that boys do like hanging out in underwear.

I came home to happy men. I know that they had a great time together!! Must be a lot of fun to have time alone with Daddy!!

Cousin Alex & his Bar Mitzvah....

Alex Kehayas is my (Lori's), first cousin. He just had his Bar Mitzvah recently. And although Ryan, Sam & I were unable to attend, my parents were able to. This is my Dad (Tony), Cousin Alex & my Mom (Sarah). Alex & my Uncle Mark live in Virginia Beach, Va.
I'm NOT exactly sure what the game is here but I thought that it was pretty funny! So I put it in.
Cousin Alex is an AMAZING guitarist. He really is VERY good. One day I am sure that we will see him head-lining with a pretty amazing band!
He's the man...
From left to right; Uncle Mark, Nora, Alex, Sarah & Tony.

"The Other Side of Bob"...

These are our friends, Mo & Susan. They live a couple of houses down from us and Ryan, Sam & I really like them! Susan is very talented in every aspect possible. She made Sam a name sign for his room that has a little cowboy lasso, roped around it. And to stand next to his name, a little red head cowboy and a trusty horse! So cute!!! Mo is a Yo-Yo champ...literally! He used to work for Duncan Yo-Yo's as a professional Yo-Yo guy! We really enjoy hanging out with Mo & Susan!

Sam likes to sit on Mo's lap and play with his beard!
Here Sam is a little distracted by me taking a picture...but normaly he can't takes his eyes off Susan. She can really get him smiling. We just love these guys!

Sam's Babysitters (He is almost as big as they are!)...

Ms. Emily is one of Sam's babysitters. He is in love with these girls! When he sees them he starts smiling and squealing...
This is Ms. Laura, she is also one of Sam's babysitters!

Denver Zoo animals (Just for fun!)...

Denver Zoo Continued (September 14th 2008)...

Sam was really enjoying watching the fish. He was awake for most of the time we were there & really liked looking at the monkeys & the bears. It is fun watching him take in all the new sights & sounds! What a sweet boy. He is 6 months now & weighs 18 lbs!!! WOW!

(Not too sure why this is coming in side-ways..oh well...)
Mr. Micah on the Cheetah... So FAST!
Heidi was on the Run Away Ostrich... Hold on sister!
Looks like a HUGE Catfish but, I'm not too sure what it is. But I did like the picture.
