Cousin Alex & his Bar Mitzvah....

Alex Kehayas is my (Lori's), first cousin. He just had his Bar Mitzvah recently. And although Ryan, Sam & I were unable to attend, my parents were able to. This is my Dad (Tony), Cousin Alex & my Mom (Sarah). Alex & my Uncle Mark live in Virginia Beach, Va.
I'm NOT exactly sure what the game is here but I thought that it was pretty funny! So I put it in.
Cousin Alex is an AMAZING guitarist. He really is VERY good. One day I am sure that we will see him head-lining with a pretty amazing band!
He's the man...

"The Other Side of Bob"...

These are our friends, Mo & Susan. They live a couple of houses down from us and Ryan, Sam & I really like them! Susan is very talented in every aspect possible. She made Sam a name sign for his room that has a little cowboy lasso, roped around it. And to stand next to his name, a little red head cowboy and a trusty horse! So cute!!! Mo is a Yo-Yo champ...literally! He used to work for Duncan Yo-Yo's as a professional Yo-Yo guy! We really enjoy hanging out with Mo & Susan!

Sam likes to sit on Mo's lap and play with his beard!
Here Sam is a little distracted by me taking a picture...but normaly he can't takes his eyes off Susan. She can really get him smiling. We just love these guys!

Sam's Babysitters (He is almost as big as they are!)...

Ms. Emily is one of Sam's babysitters. He is in love with these girls! When he sees them he starts smiling and squealing...
This is Ms. Laura, she is also one of Sam's babysitters!

Denver Zoo animals (Just for fun!)...

Denver Zoo Continued (September 14th 2008)...

Sam was really enjoying watching the fish. He was awake for most of the time we were there & really liked looking at the monkeys & the bears. It is fun watching him take in all the new sights & sounds! What a sweet boy. He is 6 months now & weighs 18 lbs!!! WOW!

(Not too sure why this is coming in side-ways..oh well...)
Mr. Micah on the Cheetah... So FAST!
Heidi was on the Run Away Ostrich... Hold on sister!
Looks like a HUGE Catfish but, I'm not too sure what it is. But I did like the picture.

Day at the Zoo with the cousins (September 14th 2008)...

These two beautiful kids are Sam's 'Goeglein' cousins, Micah & Heidi!!! Micah is 8 years old, he loves to read. Especially about science & outer-space!! Heidi or "Princess of Windsor" is 5 years old & she loves to dance!! They invited us out for a day at the Denver Zoo & we had a GREAT time!

This was a polar bear, catching a few rays. Relaxing by the pool, doesn't get better than that....

Travis is Ryan's older brother. He & his family live in Windsor & we try to see eachother as often as possible. Do you think that the Camoto Dragon is thinking...shoot, if only this glass wasn't here...lunch!!

Jenn is Travis' wife...she is wonderful and Sam is in LOVE with her. She was actually the first person to EVER get Sam to giggle!! She is now working as a teacher at Heidi's school. Actually, Heidi is in her class! Heidi says that it is fun having her mom as her teacher.

Micah, Ryan, Sam & Heidi, what a good lookin' group...

Eating Dinner (August 6th 2008)...

September 1st 2008...

Family up-date...

Ryan has been very busy with work. His business continues to grow & keeps him busy! He has also taken up riding a motorcycle. He and his friend Shanon have a bike gang, "Blood Bought." All of the guys took their bikes out and drove to Estes Park for Labor Day. They had a great time & I think quite a few bugs lost their lives on Ryan's helmet! Yummy! :) I think that Ryan has put on next to a thousand miles on his new bike. He is really enjoying himself!!

I have been busy with work & loving every moment that I get to spend time with my men. At the beginning of August I moved to a supervisor role at work. It has proven to be a great move, yet challenging. I am lucky to work with such a great group of people. I do however, spen a lot more time in the office now. That I find difficult but, I think that I am were I need to be & therefore cherish the time I have with my family.

We are getting excited & ready to travel out to California soon for Heather's BIG graduation! It should be great. Mom, Dad, Kristen, Megan (her going is a secret to her!), Sam, Ryan & myself are all going!! I think that Uncle John and our God Parents Cam & Dean are planning on being their as well. So it should be A LOT of FUN!!!!

Sweet little smile...
Sam & Jackson are buddies...Jack likes to anp right next to Sam and lick his face, hands & toes just to make sure that he is clean! Sam adores watching Jack run back and forth for the ball. I am sure that this friendship will only deepen as Sam is able to actually throw the ball! Ryan's 1st word was "ball," maybe Sam's will be too!!

August 30th 2008...

Sam I Am (August 18th, 2008)...

Our little Sam is getting so big. He has really taken to rolling over! He likes to roll from his tummy to the right! His "huge cranium" makes it easy to roll over! He also like to shake his head side-to-side when prompted with "No, no, no." We may regret teaching him that soon!

Sam had an appointment with an Eye Surgeon today. He took a good look at the bump on his head and feels that it is either a cyst or a fatty tumor. The only way we will know what it truly is, is by biopsy. Sam is a little too young to have anesthesia so we will probably wait a couple months, then have it removed & biopsied. It doesn't seem to bother him at all. So that is good.
We will keep you posted as we know more!

Sam is 5 months old...

Daddy helped Sam to take a bath. He is still taking baths in our bedroom sink! :) That space is getting a little tight...but it is so cute to see his feet poking out one side & his head relaxing back on a towel on the other! Just like a spa!! Ahhh the life! :)

Our Little Paradise (August 7th, 2008)...

Ryan & I planted Morning Glory seeds and wildflower seeds at the beginning of the summer and the blooms have attracted an interesting variety of birds. Our Favorite being the humming bird! However, they have proven to be too quick for us to capture on film yet! Will post a pic when we get one. :) But this American Goldenfinch is a close second to the Humming bird! What a beautiful bird! We have become a family of Bird Watchers. Recently a Prairie Falcon landed in our back yard tree, taking a short break from hunting. What a great experience. We also put a new variety of seed in our feeders that is attracting the Black-Capped Chickadee (see pic below). They are so very small, very acrobatic and have a beautiful song. Sam has really taken to watching them also!
