Sweet Asher - He is getting Soooo Big!
Tummy time! When Asher went to his 2 month appointment he was in the 89% for his weight and 96% for his height! Big boy! He will be 3 months on the 6th of July and is already in 6 month old clothes. :)
All this growing is making me so tired! Thank you Auntie Jen for the comfy & cute blankie that I LOVE!
Yup, getting BIG!
Sam and Asher are known to just look at each other and smile. Who wouldn't smile at these two guys!
Asher, dimples and all. :)
Summer Retreat at Horn Creek - June 2010
My sister Kristen with her little boy Drew and Asher. We came here for a family retreat. It was great! We spent wonderful time with the family and friends. It was sooo nice! Sam played with his best friend Amy and all the other kids. Ryan and I had time to play knockout basketball. Ryan won a few times and I threw like a fool! :)

Asher, My Darling Fire Fly!
That day was a magical day. Asher discovered his thumb!! A man after my own heart. Now, my mother could tell you exactly, but I think that I sucked my thumb until the beginning of Elementary school. It was my comfort and companion. And for my mother it was a portable pacifier, not to mention attached (so next to impossible to lose)! So as fate has it, I too have a thumb sucker! What a gift, that thumb. I was told as a child that I would have buck teeth, that my thumb could be sucked right off, etc. Turns out that they were wrong, and for that God gave me a sucker of my own! :)
GrandMa's House - Fort Collins/Memorial Weekend...
Pretty Grandma and Baby Asher.
A short ways off of Harmony, Grandma has just bought a beautiful home. It is really great! The whole family came to help Grandma move in. There is plenty of space for us all to stay and just "be." Good choice! Carissa came for the weekend to help move, the Windsor Goeglein's came also and so did Papa! It was wonderful! Ryan had a few inspections, so I stayed with our two men at the house. What a treat! We all really loved being a big family together. Talking, laughing and unpacking. Of course my favorite is the tall rooster you see against the wall in this picture. Grandma's friend Cindy says that she likes to pet it! LOL!!!
A day at the Zoo with Cousins!!
First of all may I say that I think this is the most rockin outfit for a day at the zoo I have seen in a long time!! I wish that I had thought of it first, because I would have worn it if I could have gotten away with it. This little girl looks like she should be a celebrities child! :) Fancy!
The day was nice and warm and therefore the bears were out and either jumping in the water for a cool dip or relaxing in the shade. One of the bears had just had hip surgery and gotten the green light from the Doc that it was Okay to play in the water. She was doing a lot of swimming. So fun to see. We also got there just in time to see the Sea Lion show. There is a lion who does not have a back tail due to getting caught in a net, or something. You would think that she would have a hard time swimming around, but she looks to be doing just fine. :)
So these are my Sullivan cousins'. Drew is the in sweet ride, Megan is giving Sam a hug, Amy is the sweet little blue bug and Katy is our little artist in pink! We love hanging out with them and it is really great because they live only a couple miles away from us. Now we are just trying to get the Kehayas Grand Parents to retire and move to Denver!
Cousin Andrew and Sam are 7 months apart...and they couldn't be more different in there eating habits. :) Drew is a free spirit and enjoying really experiencing his food...yougurt Go'T!!

New Fence and Other Adventures...
When Ryan took on the project of finishing the basement a new window went in for the guest bedroom. So the fence and gate had to go to make room for the window. Due to the open yard which opens up to the walk way, we had a few visitors in our yard. So Ryan built us a new fence and gate to keep our yard "our yard" again!!!
Since Asher has come along, Botts has felt the even greater need to claim everything as her own. Her she is in Asher's lounge chair. You can hardly dump her from it. She puts those claws in and holds on for dear life!

Time at the Park!
Here Sam is testing out the slide. Although he loves being thrown in the air, he is a little reluctanat to go down the slide alone. So this was a big success when he discovered it was a lot of fun!
We also like to go to a park near Papou and Mammy's house. There is a garden, where we found a dead snake being eaten by bugs! yummy! We saw 2 ducks, birds, dogs, rabbits and hear a fox howling as sinrens passed by. It was a lot of fun. We went back 2 days later and saw 4 deer sitting in someones yard! We love it here!
Sam also learned to go on the big swing by himeself. Wahooo! Here he is making the sound Spider Man makes when he shoots out his web!

Asher's Quiet Time

While the little monkey is asleep...shhhhh! Oh but he is so stinking sweet when he sleeps!
Asher is now 5 1/2 weeks old. He is getting so BIG!! He looks a lot like Sam to me. What do you think?
That is when we have special time with Sam. So we made pizza for lunch! I think that Sam ate more cheese than he put on the pizza! :)

Sam IS Potty Training @least if M&M's are involved!

May 13th...
Potty training has begun! We bought the Big Boy briefs that promised to allow Sam to "notice" when he voided. What they failed to mention is that Mom would also "notice" when he voided. Marked by a pair of soaked jeans in Lowe's and a soaked dinning room chair while assisting with making dinner! They let more through than they soak! Oh man! :)
M&M's are the reward for sitting on the potty. Although, Sam does have a cushy Diego potty seat that fits on the Lu.
Can you tell by the first photo how excited he is to be starting this little endevore!
So each night we end with a nice cleansing bath! Diego tattoo and all! Don't forget Percy also! He is a must each bath session...mind you, Sam fills him with water and proceeds to squirt all over. Boyz!
May 15th - A New Addition
Soooo, we have once again rejoined the VW family! Ryan has taken over ownership of the Kehayas Touareg! It was a kick in the pants...Ryan drove it around town...Lori drove it around town...back at the ranch the darn thing quit working. No kidding! So back to square one and it will be off to the shop on Monday. Shoot. Always a bummer when the VERY fist day you have a new vehicle it breaks. :) But is it pretty and Ryan does look good drivisng it. Then again, he makes everything look good!

Our New Addition...Asher Benjamin - April 6th 2010
On April 6th, we welcomed Sam's new brother Asher into the Goeglein family! Sam was the first one to meet Asher after he was born. After he met him, he went out to the waiting room and brought the rest of the family into meet his brother. He was so proud and excited!
Since that day, Sam and Asher are on their way to becoming steadfast friends. Both of the boys have red hair. Asher's hair is slightly more auburn, but is becoming more like Sam's in brightness.
Every morning Sam comes into Mom and Dad's room to say "Hi Brover!" He will then lay there and hold Asher's hand. He is very gentle with Asher and is very good about softly touching his head and giving kisses.
